Rashan Gary, Chandon Sullivan show up on Packers’ first injury report of Week 15

Outside linebacker Rashan Gary and cornerback Chandon Sullivan both exited the Green Bay Packers’ win over the Detroit Lions on Sunday with hip injuries.

The pair of defenders both showed up as new injuries on the team’s first injury report of Week 15 on Tuesday.

The Packers didn’t practice on Tuesday, but the team estimated Gary, the team’s second-most productive pass-rusher, and Sullivan, the defense’s starter in the slot, would have been both been limited.

The Packers play the Carolina Panthers on Saturday, so the first injury report of the week is out one day early. Gary, Sullivan and Randy Ramsey (neck, limited) were the only three new additions from last week.

Gary played only 19 snaps in the first half against the Lions, while Sullivan exited after 33 snaps. The status of both players will be worth monitoring as the week progresses and the Packers eventually get on the practice field.

The Packers only estimated two players as non-participants on Tuesday: tight end Jace Sternberger (concussion) and receiver Malik Taylor (hamstring). Both players missed Sunday’s win.

One other thing to note from the injury report: quarterback Aaron Rodgers isn’t listed. He fell hard on his hip or leg area at the end of a hit in the second half of Sunday’s win. He appeared to be in some pain but ended up finishing the game without issue.
