Princess Diana confronts cameras in remarkable footage telling them to leave Harry and William alone

Incredible rarely seen footage of Princess Diana confronting a Paparazzi photographer has emerged in the new Netflix Harry & Meghan documentary.

In the clip Diana is seen pleading with a man to stop taking pictures as she has food with Harry and Meghan.

The incident was recorded in 1995 on a skiing holiday which Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie were also on.

Harry explains what happened on the trip.

"Paparazzi used to harass us to the point where we had to be forced smiling and answering questions to the travelling press pack. And that made me feel really uncomfortable from the get-go.

"The deal was we'd then put our skis on and they'd leave us alone. Well, some of them would. But then the other ones would just follow us around either taking photographs or waiting for an accident to happen and then put up their cameras.

"It was never fair, it never worked."

In the clip documentary Diana is leaving the table she is sat on with her boys before walking up to the camera and putting her hand over the lens.

She is heard saying: "Please leave. As a parent, could I ask you to respect my children's space. I've got the children out here for a holiday and we'd really appreciate the space."

The photographer then offers her a deal to leave them alone if they pose for him for a few minutes.

Diana answers: "No, we've had 15 cameras following us today. As a parent I want to protect children. Thank you."
