'Rare' chance to buy revamped home in 'well regarded' area

A 'rare' opportunity to buy an extensively refurbished home in an area where property prices are rising has come onto the market.

The stunning detached home on Belvidere Road in Wallasey, on the Wirral, boasts five bedrooms and two bathrooms and has been given a full makeover.

Trendy touches includes charcoal PVC double glazing, huge open plan living spaces and even a balcony in the master bedroom.

While outside may look like a regular home that's had a facelift, the interior has been finished to an extremely high standard.

The ground floor has a central hallway leading to a home office, utility room and WC. The sitting room at the front of the house boasts a beautiful bay window with bench seating.

The property has been extended to the rear with a massive, open plan kitchen, diner and family room with bi-fold doors leading into the garden.

The kitchen is ultra modern, with a huge glossy island, floor to ceiling cabinets and modern lighting.

Accommodation is spread over three floors, with three bedrooms and a family bathroom on level one, while the second floor comprises another bedroom, a second family bathroom and the huge master suite.

This includes its own dedicated dressing area and en-suite, along with a balcony.

The property is on the market with Hunters for a guide price of £475,000. The estate agents hailed the listing as a "rare opportunity" for a "discerning buyer looking to purchase a beautifully refurbished and much improved five bedroom detached property".

They added: "The upgraded and thoughtfully planned accommodation within the property has been carefully designed to offer all the conveniences of modern living and the library images included within the listing give a good indication of what the rooms will offer in terms of lifestyle once completed."

Property prices on Belvidere Road are rising steadily. In the past 12 months, the average was £205,500, 2% higher than the previous year and 18% up on the 2020 peak of £174,500.

In the wider Wallasey area, the overall average was £187,716, 7% higher than the previous 12 months and a massive 23% up on 2020.
