Normally a team with a day off playing another on the second half of a back-to-back would be the better-rested club, but when the Boston Celtics take on the Toronto Raptors Thursday evening, it isn’t clear which franchise will have more spring in their step.
The Raptors are of course returning to action the day following their contest with the Washington Wizards on Wednesday, and the Celtics from their annual five-game West Coast road trip. This isn’t the same team that Boston bulldozed in Tampa earlier in the season either, having since clawed their way back up the East standings to eighth in the conference at 11 and 13 after winning six of their last three games before the Wizards.
