MILWAUKEE _ Bouncing back for the second time in the series, the Toronto Raptors shook off their Game 3 drubbing to defeat the Milwaukee Bucks, 87-76, in Game 4 on Saturday afternoon at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
DeMar DeRozan led the way with 33 points as the Raptors evened the Eastern Conference first-round series at 2-2. Game 5 is Monday night in Toronto.
Kyle Lowry added 18 points and new starter Norman Powell had 12 points as the Raptors steadily pulled away in the second half. DeRozan did not have a field goal in Game 3 but was 12 for 22 as he got to his spots throughout the game and avoided the Bucks' trapping defense.
Tony Snell paced the Bucks with 19 points and Greg Monroe and Giannis Antetokounmpo each had 14.
Antetokounmpo was 0 for 7 in the second half and was limited to two points in the half. Antetokounmpo finished 6 of 19 from the field and Khris Middleton was just 4 of 13. He had 10 points and 11 rebounds in 36 minutes.
Milwaukee shot 37 percent, hitting just 30 of 81 shots and only 5 of 21 from 3-point range.
The teams combined for 23 turnovers in a sloppy first half, including 13 by the Bucks.
DeRozan was 8 for 14 in the first half and scored 21 points. He had more than half the Raptors' total as they fought to a 41-41 tie at intermission.
Antetokounmpo had 12 points and five rebounds in the half. His coast-to-coast dunk gave the Bucks a 33-26 lead with 5:28 left in the second quarter.
But Toronto rallied for a 39-37 lead before baskets by Thon Maker and Antetokounmpo put the Bucks in front again. DeRozan then scored in the lane to create the halftime tie.
