Rapper Tobe Nwigwe is all-in on the Nuggets after his song became the team anthem

Tobe Nwigwe is a multi-hyphenate artist, recently upgrading from rapper to rapper-actor with his on-screen appearance in the new Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. You can add yet another hyphenate to the list: rapper-actor-Nuggets fan.

Nwigwe hails from Houston but has recently adopted the Denver Nuggets after the team chose his song “Fye Fye” as the unofficial team anthem for this season. Nwigwe talked about his musical influences and his newfound support for the Western Conference champs in an interview with FTW ahead of the release of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.

You can see Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, featuring Nwigwe’s new original song “On My Soul”, in theaters on Friday, June 9th.
