Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine 'splashes cash on cars and bling' in post-prison shopping spree

Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine has reportedly gone on a wild shopping spree after being release from prison earlier this month.

The hip-hop star, 23, was sentenced to two years behind bars for his involvement in a violent street gang and was due to get out in August.

However, US officials released him in in early April to spent the last few months of his sentence on house arrest as his asthma made him particularly vulnerable to coronavirus.

TMZ.com now reports he's been making the most of his new-found freedom by slashing some serious cash.

The website suggests he's purchased a fleet of luxury cars, including a Rolls-Royce, a Mercedes Benz G-Wagon and a Range Rover.

He's also said to have splashed out on a new jewellery, including a necklace with a shark pendant worth £240,000 and three luxury watches.

Tekashi 6ix9ine is believed to remain on house arrest and has been shopping with the help of an assistant over the phone.

During his time at home, he's believed to be keeping busy by working on a new album and fielding offers for gigs abroad.

He's said to have been made a series of lucrative offers to play gigs in locations such as Saudi Arabia and Australia once the coronavirus lockdown is over.

However, he will remain on probation after his house arrest ends and will need special permission to travel for work.

New York-based Tekashi 6ix9ine was jailed in November 2018 after being convicted on charges of racketeering, drug trafficking and firearm offences.

The charges are said to have been linked to his involvement in the notorious Nine Trey Bloods gang.
