Rapper Aitch leaks Manchester United 2023/24 home shirt during Glastonbury performance

Manchester United fans appear to have been given a glimpse of the club's 2023/24 home shirt after rapper Aitch performed his Glastonbury set in it on Saturday.

The club have teased an official release date of June 27 on their social media channels in recent weeks. However, on Saturday, Manchester-born artist and United fan Aitch - full name Harrison James Armstrong - gave those at Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage and millions watching a full preview, with the shirt he donned matching that of the pattern shown in United's teaser videos.

And the club did little to separate themselves from the leak, replying to a tweet of Aitch in the shirt with a red rose emoji.

The shirt's most notable design feature was the Lancashire rose, with the Adidas three-stripe logo not including the brand's name underneath. There has also been a notable change to the collar, which has a black trim and is a v-neck.

The shirt also matches that of a supposed full leak of all kits earlier this year. A number of pictures have emerged of the home kit, with Luke Shaw modelling the shirt in one of the supposed leaks. A picture of Tyrell Malacia modelling the away shirt has emerged, while a picture of Casemiro wearing the third shirt has been posted online.

The kit modelled by Malacia has caused quite a stir, with the pictures seeming to show a striking black-and-white striped design which vaguely resembles Newcastle United's home kit. While the design is unusual, the colour scheme is thought to be closer to dark green with thin cream and red stripes.
