Leeds United winger and rumoured Liverpool target Raphinha has once again shown his qualities whilst scoring for Leeds United this afternoon.
The winger opened the scoring in Leeds' fixture with Norwich City this afternoon, putting in another impressive performance.
Raphinha has impressed since moving to the Premier League last season, scoring 10 goals in 38 games so far.
This past summer, Liverpool were extensively linked with the Brazilian throughout the summer transfer window, as were arch rivals Manchester United.
However, no moved materialised, with the 24-year-old remaining in West Yorkshire - continuing in his excellent form from last year.
The Brazilian has also been called up to the international side recently, playing alongside Fabinho and Alisson, with the former stating that he hopes Liverpool will sign him.
And after witnessing Raphinha grab the headlines again this afternoon, Liverpool fans have once again stated that he's a player who the team should look to bring in.
Raphinha's agent, former Barcelona and Chelsea star Deco, has claimed that the Reds did indeed make an enquiry about Raphinha.
However, Deco went on to say that no official approaches were made by Liverpool, but hinted that a future transfer could be on the cards.
“Raphinha became an important player in the Premier League, the club knows he has grown and things will happen naturally,” Deco is quoted telling Globo Esporte .
“He is young, he has many challenges ahead, there are certainly several clubs that like him, and Liverpool do like him, there were approaches, but nothing official.
“Leeds wanted to keep him for another season.”
