Leeds United's Raphinha draws criticism from Brazilian media after international friendly win

Leeds United winger, Raphinha has come in for some criticism from Brazil's media, after his performance in the Selecao's 5-1 victory over South Korea on Thursday. The Leeds star started on the right-wing, as he has often done since breaking into the national side this season, but did not contribute a goal or assist and was substituted in the 78th minute.

In their match ratings, Globo Esporte gave Raphinha a 6/10 score and criticised his end product in the match, as well as stating that Brazil's manager had been 'annoyed' by his performance. They wrote:

"In the first half, he annoyed Tite a little for not being so “spiky” on the right wing. He had opportunities to score in the final stage, but he didn’t finish well. He can do more."

Raphinha is one of the most speculated players in European this summer, with Barcelona making the Brazilian one of their top transfer targets. However, financial issues at the Catalan club are making a deal look increasingly difficult at this stage. Leeds are said to be looking for £60-70million for their star winger.

The Brazil star could be set to feature in two more international friendlies next week. There are fixtures against Japan (Monday June 6) and Argentina (Saturday June 11).
