New Leeds United signing Raphinha has revealed that he was "enchanted" by the Whites style of play against Liverpool and Manchester City which convinced him to join the club.
The Brazilian winger signed for Leeds on transfer deadline day for an initial fee of £15.4m.
Raphinha joins the likes of Robin Koch, Rodrigo Moreno and Diego Llorente as Leeds major summer additions and their final from the international market.
The Whites can still sign players from the EFL until October 16, with Todd Cantwell and Said Benrahma both previous linked.
Having seen a deal for Michael Cuisance break down, Leeds fans are delighted to see the 23-year-old officially confirmed as the latest recruit to enter Elland Road.
Raphinha has revealed that Leeds' eye-catching football under Marcelo Bielsa played a big role in his decision to swap Ligue 1 for West Yorkshire.
"I watched Leeds play against Liverpool and against Manchester City as well, I was enchanted with the style of play," Raphinha told LUTV.
"It's a team that always play on the front foot, attacking football, looking for goals, chasing the victory. As an attacker, that's the type of football I like to play, looking for goals.
"It's a very good team, really high quality and always looking to score goals. That really had an influence on my decision."
Leeds have been keen to add another forward player to their ranks in a bid to ease the creative burden on Pablo Hernandez.
When quizzed on his style as a player, Raphinha has explained how he tries to excite supporters whenever he's on the field.
"I'm the sort of player that looks to bring joy onto the field, I like to have fun on the pitch.
"I try not to demand too much of myself but I actually demand a lot of myself and that's normal. What the fans can expect from me is a happy player who looks to help the team and give his all, that gets the victory and battles to the very end.
"I give my all with maximum dedication to always seek a positive result."
He added: "I'll look to do what I have everywhere which is to focus and work as hard as possible, keep up and match the levels of the teams.
"I've watched the team and I've seen what really good place they're in and how well they're doing so I will work my hardest to reach that level and contribute to the team."
