Manchester United fans have made clear that completing the signing of Raphael Varane is their top priority for this summer’s transfer window.
With over 50,000 fans voting, they were asked to pick who United should sign out of their top contenders and they are ready for some big names to come into their squad.
Eighty percent of voters wanted Varane to join United, the left back on course to complete a medical for the club.
It is clear that fans are after defensive improvements, with 71% of voters also wanting Kieran Trippier to be brought to Manchester from La Liga champions Atletico Madrid, his £18 million price tag looking like a savvy investment for the club.
Fans were split when it came to whether Erling Haaland should be bought by the club, with 56% picking to make a deal with the striker, 44% voting to spend money elsewhere, the £100 million price tag putting them off making a bid.
Declan Rice and Eduardo Camavinga were also split decisions for Manchester United fans, unsure as to whether they could splash £50 and £60 million on the two transfer targets.
