Hoping for yet another Strictly Come Dancing romance, fans were drawn to the natural chemistry between Ranvir Singh and her dance partner Giovanni Pernice.
And while the show may be over, the chat of a showmance is still going - with Good Morning Britain's political editor Ranvir, 44, delighting fans by leaving a flirty comment on her 30-year-old dance partner's latest Instagram post.
Italian dance pro Giovanni shared a stylish all-black snap of himself clad in a leather jacket with sunglasses, open to reveal a skintight black T-shirt. "Almost cool part 2," he wrote.
Ranvir responded: "No cardigan!" along with green tick and praise hands emojis.
She wasn't the only one to comment, with pro dancer Gorka Marquez writing "what a photo" - to which Danny playfully responded "What a photographer!"
But it was Ranvir's comment on which fans leapt, sharing their approval beneath.
"Nearly choked on my drink there, he saves that for special people obviously," replied one fan.
The "cardy" Ranvir was referring to, was one Giovanni wore in a good luck message he sent her before she stepped in to cover Lorraine Kelly's hosting duties for the festive period.
"I'm so proud of you, I'm really, really, really proud of you - you are just incredible," he told her on TV.
Afterwards, a giggling Ranvir said: "Oh bless his heart, was it only me who noticed he wasn't wearing anything under that cardi?"
