In honor of the start of 2020 Wednesday, we decided to put together a list of the Top 10 Georgia football wins from the past decade.
After all of the suspense in the last 8 games we revealed, you probably know what the final two are by now, but we will only currently reveal the second, just for fun.
Coming in at No. 2 on our list is the 2013 LSU game in Athens, with Aaron Murray, Justin Scott-Wesley and Michael Bennett leading the Dawgs to a come-from-behind 44-41 victory, in one of the best games you will ever see.
College Gameday came to town for this heavyweight clash, after Georgia’s massive win over South Carolina just a few weeks before. CBS broadcast the game in its traditional 3:30 pm afternoon slot and the Bulldog defense stood its ground, with the infamous theme music blasting into the postgame highlights on a perfect evening in Athens.
You might remember the ‘Letter to Larry’ that Georgia football broadcasting legend Loran Smith wrote for Larry Munson after this game. And you probably won’t forget former coach Mark Richt tearing up with Tracy Wolfson in his postgame interview.
