The AFC West has had somewhat of a down year in 2019, with the Chiefs and Chargers all struggling in comparison to what we saw last season. However, it’s still one of the most exciting divisions in football with several high-flying offenses.
Today, we are taking a look at the five best wide receivers in the division from the 2019 season. So without further ado, let’s get to the players!
5. Mike Williams, Chargers

Mike Williams is having a fascinating season for the Chargers this season. He’s already set a career-high in receiving yards (778) and is averaging an incredible 20.5 yards per reception, which is the most in the league for qualifying receivers. But after scoring 10 touchdowns last season on just 43 receptions, Williams has failed to reach the end zone this season.
Williams is one of the most physically gifted receivers in the league, so it’s perplexing why he can’t find the end zone this season. Nevertheless, he makes this list simply due to his ability to make plays down the field.
4. Tyrell Williams, Raiders

Tyrell Williams made the rare switch from one AFC West team to another this offseason, moving from Los Angeles to Oakland. Williams was signed to be the Raiders’ No. 2 receiver next to Antonio Brown, but he’s been forced to play a more predominant role this season as the team’s top receiver.
Williams has been solid for Oakland this season, catching 33 passes for 489 yards and five touchdowns despite dealing with a few injuries. He’s never going to be the most dynamic receiver in the league, but he has been competent for Oakland this season. Look for the Raiders to find him some help this offseason.
3. Tyreek Hill, Chiefs

Tyreek Hill has battled multiple injuries this season, including a collarbone issue as well as a sore hamstring. However, he’s still one of the league’s most dangerous receivers whenever he is on the field.
In eight games this season, Hill has caught 38 passes for 598 yards and five touchdowns for the Chiefs. He’s still arguably the fastest receiver in the league, and nobody is more terrifying when they are in the open field. Expect Hill to make some big plays over the next month of the NFL season and into the playoffs.
2. Keenan Allen, Chargers

After struggling with injuries to start his career, Keenan Allen has quickly developed into the league’s most consistent receiver. Allen in on pace to eclipse 1,100 receiving yards for the third straight season as he is the Chargers’ go-to weapon in the passing game.
Allen doesn’t have great speed, but his size and ability to run fantastic routes allows him to get open with ease. It also doesn’t hurt that he has the versatility to play all three receiver spots as his quarterback has complete faith that he can create separation on every snap. Allen should be considered a lock to make his third-straight Pro Bowl.
1. Courtland Sutton, Broncos

The best receiver in the division this season has been none other than Courtland Sutton of the Denver Broncos. Entering the season, it was Emmanuel Sanders, who was the team’s top receiver. But Sutton played so well that the team was comfortable trading away Sanders knowing they had a star ready to take his place.
Despite playing with three different quarterbacks this season, Sutton has already reached 906 receiving yards and six touchdowns. He’s averaging nearly 17 yards per reception, and his combination of size and speed has allowed him to draw several pass interference calls, such as the one last week against the Chargers.
Sutton is just starting to come into his own, and if the Broncos can find consistent play at the quarterback position, don’t be surprised if Sutton develops into one of the league’s best ten receivers in the upcoming years.
