The Michigan State Football social media team has really outdone themselves this offseason. Over the last few months, they have been peppering top recruits with a barrage of awesome recruiting graphics that, in my biased opinion, are among the coolest I have seen nation-wide.
While these graphics are pretty much all fire, we had a lot of fun ranking them:
No. 10: ‘The Family’
No. 9: ‘The Home’
Simple. Straightforward. To the point.
No. 8: ‘The Walk’
Gotta like how they tie in the educational aspect of being a Spartan here. Another crisp, well-done graphic.
No. 7: ‘The Road’
This one is rugged, tough, and really well executed. The dark clouds make it unique. Definitely dig this one as well.
No. 6: ‘The Film Room’
What I love about this graphic and the next one as well is that they call on the player’s imagination to let visualize their journey at Michigan State. Very well done.
No. 5: ‘The Draft’
One of my personal favorite graphics. Love the visual to get the recruit thinking about how Michigan State could help groom you to reach the next level. I am a bit conflicted about the choice of using the hometown Detroit Lions, however, as it implies that the Lions will have been the worst team in the NFL in the 2025 season to earn that No. 1 pick.
No. 4: ‘The Spartan’
Now we get to the point in the slideshow I call the ‘toss-up.’ These last four graphics are all unique and cool in their own way. This graphic, which I dubbed ‘The Spartan,’ leans into the mascot for MSU which I appreciate. They are also depicted in a traditional Spartan battle position which is, for lack of a better term, badass.
No. 3: ‘The Vinyl’
Now, I don’t think that MSU Football’s social media team has changed their mentality or methodology after Mark Dantonio was replaced by Mel Tucker, but it is hard to imagine the team putting out something as cool as this under the Dantonio administration. I am definitely biased, but I think this is one of the best recruiting graphics I have seen. I love that they also have him holding up a basketball jersey, reminding football recruits that MSU also has an awesome basketball team on campus.
No. 2 ‘The Festival’
I absolutely love this concept. Done in a way that can resonate with the young players they are recruiting without being corny or forced. Another highlight from this batch.
No. 1: ‘The Dawg’
I mean, this is the best one. It has to be, it’s amazing. No further comment needed. This one wins. Not only does this make me want to play football for MSU, it makes me want to run through a brick wall. Bravo. Chef’s kiss.
