The league’s best dressed teams mostly found their rhythms decades ago and, with the exception of a few small tweaks, have stuck to that plan. Trend-chasing redesigns are generally good for a few retweets and some social media engagement, but they typically leave teams in a faded wasteland of dated looks highlighted by armpit panels, unfinished collars and unnecessary piping.
