Now, with a few days to process the Pittsburgh Steelers 2019 regular-season schedule, we decided to dig in and give you the five games on the slate most worrisome for the Steelers. This schedule is packed with games where the Steelers could slip up and in the AFC North this season, fewer than 11 wins might not make the playoffs.
Here is our ranking of the five toughest games on the Steelers’ schedule.
5-Week 11 at Cleveland Browns
We all saw the future in the final seven games of the Browns 2018 season. Once quarterback Baker Mayfield found his rhythm, Cleveland finished 5-2 and ended the season with a ton of momentum. This team is better than last year and are going to put up a serious fight late in the season.
4-Week 2 vs Seattle Seahawks

This is lining up to be a major trap game for Pittsburgh. It’s only the second week of the season but the Steelers will be returning home after taking on the New England Patriots on the road. The entire preseason is going to be dedicated to prepping for the first game and win or lose the letdown before this game could be significant.
3-Week 17 at Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens are always a challenge. The Ravens in Baltimore is worse. The Ravens in Baltimore with a more experienced Lamar Jackson and a potential playoff spot on the line is terrifying. Hopefully, the fate of the Steelers in the postseason will be wrapped up before this game happens.
2-Week 7 at Los Angeles Chargers

Last season, the Chargers game was one of the closest and most controversial games of the season. Several questionable calls and an injury to running back James Conner led to a 33-30 loss in Pittsburgh. This season the Steelers have to travel out west where they historically don’t play well for a rematch.
1-Week 1 at New England Patriots

This one was almost too easy. The Patriots are the Joke to Pittsburgh’s Batman and getting them Week One in prime time on the road is the worst-case scenario to kick off the season. Pittsburgh found a way to sneak past the Patriots last season but this is always the toughest game on the schedule.
