Ranked among the best young rosters, where do Boston’s players rate?

While it might not feel like it at the moment, the Boston Celtics roster is regarded by at least one leading talent evaluator as among the NBA’s most promising youth movements.

In his annual reckoning of young talent around the league, The Athletic’s Sam Vecenie relates that the Celtics rate as the third-best in terms of potential, even with likely first-time All-Star Jaylen Brown having “graduated” from consideration in the exercise, now on his second, non-rookie contract extension. While All-NBA small forward Jayson Tatum will obviously be the crown jewel of the Celtics future, who else ranks where in Vecenie’s estimation?
