Rangers manager Steven Gerrard will not bring Ryan Kent, Ryan Jack or Borna Barisic into his squad to face Motherwell this weekend - as he labels Fir Park a difficult venue.
The Ibrox club haven't hit the heights of last season's Premiership title-winning form so far this term, but still sit top of the league.
Graham Alexander's men claimed a 1-1 draw at Ibrox last month and Rangers come again this weekend for the Steelmen, having played out a 1-1 draw at Fir Park back in January.
Key winger Kent will not pass fit, and neither will Rangers' number one left-back Barisic.
Jack's recovery time from a lengthy spell out will mean he doesn't line up in midfield for Gerrard while centre-back Filip Helander is a long-term absentee.
Gerrard told the club's in-house media: "Motherwell is too close for both Ryan Jack and Kent but will both likely be with us before the international break.
"Borna is also missing with a small injury but will return for the European match next week. Missing a player of Ryan Kent's quality is always going to have an impact because of his high quality.
"He is not too far away and has worked extremely hard to return. Filip (Helander) is now off crutches and is doing work in the gym but is currently only around 40/50% through his recovery.
"He is a top player and we won't rush his recovery.
"Motherwell is always a tough match, every away game comes with different challenges. It is an opportunity for us to go and perform and we are looking forward to it."
