Rangers winger Oscar Cortes has travelled to Spain to complete a loan exit.
The 21-year-old is set to finalise a season-long loan to Sporting Gijon.
Cortes' switch to the Segunda Division side will be a straight loan deal with no option to purchase included.
The Rangers Review first reported interest in Cortes on deadline day, with the winger now closing in on a move to Spain.
Cortes has rarely featured under Russell Martin at Rangers. His last involvement with the first team was in the 4-2 Premier Sports Cup victory over Alloa Athletic.
The Colombian internationalist played four minutes against Viktoria Plzen in Champions League qualifying and seven minutes against Motherwell in his only other outings.

Cortes signed for Rangers this summer after a loan deal with an obligation to buy was agreed with RC Lens last year.
Rangers paid £4.5m for Cortes but he has been plagued by injury during his time in Glasgow.
Djeidi Gassama and Oliver Antman are ahead of Cortes in the pecking order in his favoured left wing role with Findlay Curtis also emerging as a first-team regular.
It's thought Cortes is keen on a loan move to build up his fitness after injuries heavily impacted on his last two years, with little regular football since 2023.
