Rangers winger Jake Hastie given warm welcome by David Turnbull after Motherwell loan return

Not everybody has been happy to see Jake Hastie back at Fir Park today - but old pal David Turnbull has given him a warm welcome.

The 21-year-old today put pen to paper on a one-year loan deal from Rangers but the move hasn't been greeted well by all supporters of the Fir Park on social media.

However, Turnbull took to Twitter to welcome him stating: 'Great to see! The boys are back together'.

He also posted an image with Hastie and Allan Campbell - who have a famous chant dedicated to the partnership they former in Lanarkshire last year before Hastie's exit.

The attacker left the Steelmen in favour of a switch to Ibrox after a thrilling six-month spell for 'Well which led to a pre-contract deal with the Glasgow giants.

However, since the switch the forward has found first-team opportunities limited and spent time on loan at Rotherham in English League One.

Despite links with Hearts, Hastie has opted to pull on the claret and amber again under Stephen Robinson.
