Ibrox WAG Brittany Held was completely thrown by a cup of Brovil while she watched Rangers defeat Motherwell .

The American ESPN host, who is engaged to Gers defender Matt Polster, was confused by the 'beefy drink' as she watched her hubby's side win 2-0 at Fir Park.

She turned to her 11.7k followers on Instagram to ask if she should sample the classic footie fan's beverage.

Her fans quickly came out in favour of the drink with more than 80 per cent of them responding to her online poll and urging she give the drink a go.

Bovril's iconic flavour comes from boiled cow carcasses and appears to be unavailable in the USA.

It can be served as a hot beverage or used as a substitute for stock in recipes.

A cup of the beefy drink was used in anger today when Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos was in his direction during his side's 2-0 win at Motherwell.

The Colombian was sent off moments after the flashpoint following his celebrations right in front of the home fans which led to his second yellow card.

Various objects landed on the pitch but most alarming of all was the piping-hot drink - which produced a cloud of steam as it hit the Fir Park playing surface.
