The match restarted after a short delay once all the balls had been removed from the pitch near Jack Butland's goal at Ibrox.
It comes after Rangers supporters gathered outside Ibrox to call for Martin and chief executive Patrick Stewart to be sacked.
Hundreds of supporters stood outside the main entrance to the stadium with a large banner stating: "Take aim against Stewart and Martin".
Chants of 'Get out our club' and 'We hate you Martin' could be heard loud and clear as supporters campaigned against the manager and chief executive.
