Rangers fans were plunged into a state of confusion after live coverage of their game against Alashkert cut out.
With the game poised at 0-0 and the visitors leading 1-0 on aggregate with ten minutes to go, the picture disappeared and viewers were shown the view of the BBC Scotland studio.
A nonplussed looking gent - presumably a member of production staff - silently looked into the camera before checking his watch.
After switching to different camera angles and still showing the man in the studio, the coverage eventually switched back to the Vazgen Sargsyan stadium with the game still goalless.
It won’t have done much for Steven Gerrard following the action from Glasgow.
The Rangers boss was forced to remain at home and in the 80 minutes or so that had passed, watch his side turn in a fairly laboured display against their ten-man opponents.
Supporters watching from home will also have been waiting nervously to be able to see the action again.
They watched their side - Alfredo Morelos in particular - pass up some great chances to score and put the tie to bed and confirm their place in the Europa League group stages.
Alashkert, despite being a man down, grew in belief during the second half and perhaps should have managed a goal of their own.
