Rangers transfer roundup as Santiago Moreno could be available as cut price bargain

Rangers are reportedly still on the trail of America de Cali striker Santiago Moreno.

Steven Gerrard has already added Fashion Sakala to his forward line but will be keen to further bolster his ranks for a crack at the Champions League group stage.

River Plate star Rafael Santos Borre is also said to be a target for the Premiership champions.

Colombian journalist Ricardo Arce reports 21-year-old winger Moreno would cost Rangers around £2m.

He scored six goals and registered four assists in 25 appearances for Cali last season and his current deal runs until 2023.

Speculation continues to swirl around Alfredo Morelos as we head into another transfer window.

The striker has been heavily linked with Porto over the past week.

Record Sport revealed his agent wasn't in Portugal to discuss a move to Sergio Conceicao's side, despite reports to the contrary.

But rumours have continued to arise from the continent, stating that a deal is close to completion.

However, it's understood Rangers are not currently close to parting ways with their star striker.

Meanwhile, Burnley reportedly want to sign youngster Ciaran Dickson following his Ibrox release.

The Sun have claimed Dickson fell out with Rangers' management team and despite signing a new deal in January until 2023, he was released earlier this month.

He could now be set to move to England if the Clarets offer him a contract.
