Rangers transfer round up as Alhassan Yusuf admits he'll 'see what happens' amid swirling English interest

Rangers-linked midfielder Alhassan Yusuf is keeping his cards close to his chest ahead of a potential summer transfer.

The IFK Goteborg man is in high demand with various clubs in England considering his signature.

His name has come up alongside a number of teams in the Premier League, as well as Rangers, who recently added John Lundstram to their midfield ranks,

But even as his current team sell a number of their key players, Yusuf is in no rush to force through a move.

The 20-year-old is content just to wait and "see what happens", with his priority on playing football in Gothenburg for the time being.

When asked about the links with a move by Swedish outlet GP, he said: “I know nothing about it because, now, the focus is only on my matches here, so we’ll see what happens.

“It does not matter (that I only have a year left on my contract). Gothenburg is like home for me. I have no stress to leave.”

Meanwhile Craig Moore reckons Alfredo Morelos might just stay at Rangers despite interest in his signature from elsewhere.

Porto have been heavily linked with a swoop but Record Sport learned this week that no formal bid has arrived.

And ex-Rangers defender Moore said that he thinks the Colombian will remain at Steven Gerrard 's team.

He said on Go Radio: "I've heard mixed things on the Morelos and Porto situation, ranging from Porto not being interested to Morelos not being interested in them.

"So, it just seems a bit of a strange situation. Rangers, for me, would want to keep Morelos now and if they were going to lose him you've got to have a deadline, so you know exactly where you stand in regards of moving forward within the season.

"I think Morelos will stay."

Rangers have been linked with a move for Peteborough starlet Siriki Dembele but their boss Darren Ferguson has all-but ruled out selling him this summer.

Dembele is out of contract in a year and club policy dictates they put him on the transfer list until he extends his terms.

But Ferguson is not yet conceding that he will leave - and says there have been no offers as yet.

“I can’t see us selling anyone before the season starts," Ferguson told the Peterborough Telegraph. "Championship clubs have been very quiet in general and we have had no offers for Siriki, not ones that will turn our heads at least.

“Siriki is therefore very much part of my plans. If he trains well he will be in contention to play and he has trained very well so far.

“All the players on the transfer list will be considered for selection while they are still here.”
