Rangers transfer news round up as Santiago Moreno makes 'final call' over next club

The 21-year-old is impressing in his breakthrough campaign in the Colombian top flight and is reportedly on the radar of the Ibrox side, Leeds and Southampton.

He scored six goals and registered four assists in 25 appearances for Cali last season and his current deal runs until 2023.

Steven Gerrard has already added Fashion Sakala to his forward line but will be keen to further bolster his attack for a crack at the Champions League group stage.

However, reports Stateside suggest that Moreno has narrowed his decision down to either Atlanta United and Portland Timbers this summer despite interest from Europe.

Futbolete claim that the decision from the attacker is due to being closer to his homeland, and will cost the club around $4million.

The Nigerian has spent his entire Reds career away from Anfield on loan with Union Berlin, West Bromwich Albion and the Premiership champions all said to be monitoring the situation.
