Rangers transfer news as rising Millwall teenager Abdul Abdulmalik 'watched' as he faces major contract call

Rangers are reportedly keeping tabs on rising Millwall star Abdul Abdulmalik as a host of teams circle around the in-demand 18-year-old.

The Daily Mail report Swansea have made a move for a player who has been offered a professional contract at the Den.

But he has yet to agree fresh terms with the Championship side and they state Arsenal and the Scottish Premiership champions are also keen on Abdulmalik.

Rangers have already added Fashion Sakala this summer and appear keen on a host of midfielders with Ivan Lepinjica the latest name to be linked.

But Abdulmalik would likely be viewed as one for the future with the England U17 player viewed as a player on the rise.

Rangers have signed a host of players from England in recent years and club across Britain and beyond are always seeking a bargain.

Abdulmalik's contract is coming to the end but Millwall would still be due compensation but the Ibrox side would pay a nominal fee compared to if he joined another English side.
