Rangers transfer latest as Terem Moffi opens up on potential switch

Reported Rangers target Terem Moffi has indicated he would be open to a move this summer - but admits he'd prefer to go to France or Spain.

The 21-year-old Nigerian has enhanced his burgeoning reputation with four goals for KV Kortrijk since his £150,000 move from Lithuanian side Riteria in January.

He's been linked with a switch to Steven Gerrard 's side, with Turkish giants Galatasaray also thought to be interested.

However, there is also interest from Ligue 1, with Lorient and Rennes monitoring his progress.

And Moffi admits that his preference would be to move to either France or Spain if he departs the Belgian Pro League this summer.

He told Het Laatste Nieuws: "I could have gone to Sweden, Norway or Israel.

"But I chose Belgium, because this way I can get to the big leagues more quickly.

"Where would I like to go? France or Spain, we'll see..."

Moffi is a strong and athletic striker who also possesses a turn of pace.

His links with a move to Ibrox come as Rangers look to add a more physical presence up-front, with Lyle Taylor and Lyndon Dykes also targeted.
