Rangers are eyeing a move for Bojan Miovski.
The club has shown interest in the 26-year-old forward and has initiated talks with him.
Miovski, who transferred from Aberdeen to Girona last summer, has been given the green light to explore options outside the La Liga club.
Rangers are looking to bolster their attacking force and see Miovski as a fitting addition to their squad.
The move for Miovski comes as Rangers have reached an agreement for Hamza Igamane to join Lille.
This agreement will see the Moroccan striker leave Ibrox after just one season.
The 22-year-old was signed last summer from AS FAR for £1.7 million.
However, he will now join the French club after a disagreement with the club last week.
He refused to come off the bench in Rangers' draw with St Mirren, and manager Russell Martin explained that he has been left out of the squad to face Club Brugge.
Martin said: "It’s happened, we moved forward, we dealt with it, he [Igamane] has got what he wanted.
"He looks likely to get what he wanted, to play somewhere else, and it means we've got some of the money that we wanted for him.
"So, I think it wouldn't have happened but it did and now we've moved forward and we can move on."
Meanwhile, Oscar Cortes has garnered interest from clubs in Belgium and Portugal for a loan move.
The Colombian, who joined Ibrox from Lens this summer, is out of the Champions League squad and was not part of Martin’s subs last weekend.
Miovski would require a permanent solution, either a loan-to-buy or transfer, before the window closes on Monday.
