There is 'absolutely' no way that Jose Mourinho will manage Rangers one day.
That's the view of the Special One's former player William Gallas.
The former Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham defender won two Premier League titles with Mourinho during his time at Stamford Bridge during the mid-2000s.
The 62-year-old was dismissed by Fenerbahce last week after they were defeated by Benfica in Champions League qualifying.
And with Rangers fans still very much on Russell Martin's case, it has led to speculation online that Mourinho could yet be in charge of the Ibrox club one day.
It comes after he refused to rule out managing in the Scottish Premiership with Rangers or Celtic in the future. When previously asked about that, he responded: "Why not?"
Martin is secure in his job at Rangers for now.
Regardless of his position, Gallas can't see the Portuguese legend rocking up at Rangers.
He told Gambling Zone: "Absolutely not. There’s no way Jose Mourinho will go to Rangers.
"I mean no disrespect, but Rangers are just too small for Jose.
"He needs one last job at a big club. However the last few years have gone for him, you can see that he’s got the aura, got the magic.
"He still has that unique attitude. Everyone wants to see him, he’s box office.
"But the problem is that life goes so fast, especially in football, and I don’t know if there’s a club that can match what he needs to succeed.
"It might be time for him to consider international management, where he’s still on a big enough stage for his talents."
