Rangers title party chaos sees three more charged over George Square celebrations

Police have arrested three more people following the Rangers fans title party chaos in George Square last month.

Officers have charged three men following scenes in the city centre during the wild celebrations on Saturday, May 15.

It takes the total number of arrests in connection with the George Square party to 39.

The three men - aged 17, 34 and 35 - have been released but will appear in court at a later date.

A total of 47 on duty police officers were injured as Gers fans celebrated the club winning their 55th top-flight league title.

One person was also arrested at Ibrox as fans gathered following the league triumph.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Three men, aged 17, 34 and 35 have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

"They have been released on an undertaking to appear in court at a later date.

"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
