Rangers tipped to brew a Europa League storm as Lech Poznan star makes knockout prediction

Lech Poznan star Jakub Kaminski reckons Rangers can make a real splash in the Europa League knockout stage.

The Ibrox side eased to victory in Poland on Thursday night to secure their status as group winners.

Steven Gerrard 's team will now be seeded for Monday's last 32 draw and Kaminski admits he was extremely impressed.

He's tipped the Premiership leaders to go far into the tournament.

He said: "We had a good enough start, but Rangers settled into the game, set the pace and were much better than us.

"We have to be realistic and honest and say Rangers are a very, very good team. They are tactically well-organised and everyone in their team knows their roles and what to do. They will go a long way in the competition.

"If you compare Rangers with Standard Liege for example, the Scots were far more aggressive, but they were composed and knew what game plan they would use.

"Rangers ran all over us and sometimes you have to admit your opposition was better. But you learn from these types of games and hopefully, we will be back next season with more experience under our belts from playing against good teams like Rangers."
