Rangers team v Standard Liege confirmed as Steven Gerrard makes three changes to his side

There are three changes to the Rangers team for tonight's Europa League clash with Standard Liege.

Ryan Jack, Leon Balogun and Ianis Hagi come into the side with Filip Helander, Steven Davis and Brandon Barker dropping to the bench.

Joe Aribo and Kemar Roofe are also among the substitutes having returned to the squad following injury issues.

Allan McGregor continues in goals with James Tavernier, Leon Balogun, Connor Goldson and Borna Barisic in defence.

Glen Kamara, Scott Arfield and Jack line up in midfield, with Hagi, Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos in attack.

Rangers line up as follows: McGregor, Tavernier, Goldson, Balogun, Barisic, Kamara, Jack, Arfield, Kent, Hagi, Morelos.

Subs: McLaughlin, Bassey, Helander, Davis, Itten, Patterson, Aribo, Barker, Stewart, Roofe, Barjonas, King.

Standard will be without three first team players –Michel-Ange Balikwisha, midfielder Nicolas Raskin and full back Moussa Sissako – after a number of positive COVID-19 tests within their squad.

However Gerrard spoke in the lead up to the match about how his players will still need to find their "best level" to get success against the Belgian outfit.
