Rangers team news vs Livingston revealed as Steven Gerrard makes 2 changes

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has named his team to face Livingston on Wednesday night.

Gerrard's men have travelled to West Lothian in the Premiership, and it's one of the few places they've dropped points this season.

A 0-0 draw back in August can go down as one of the games which kickstarted Rangers title tilt and they'll be hoping for a better result tonight.

And Gerrard has made two changes from the team that beat Antwerp in the Europa League last Thursday night.

Leon Balogun picked up a knock so he has been replaced by teenage right back Nathan Patterson, who makes his first league start of the season.

The defender scored 16 seconds after being introduced last week and will hope for a similar impact at the Tony Macaroni Arena.

He'll start in front of Allan McGregor in goals, with Connor Goldson, Filip Helander and Borna Barisic making up the rest of the back four.

The midfield sees Steven Davis continue alongside Glen Kamara and Scott Arfied.

Gerrard described the front three of Alfredo Morelos, Ianis Hagi and Ryan Kent as having their best 'team' performance of the season last week after the Antwerp game, but one of them drops out.

Joe Aribo is pushed up a line with Hagi dropping to the bench in a surprise move.

Jermain Defoe returns to the bench, alongside Hagi, Jack Simpson, Calvin Bassey, , Cedric Itten and Scott Wright.

FULL TEAM: McGregor, Patterson, Goldson, Helander, Barisic, Davis, Kamara, Arfield, Aribo, Morelos, Kent

Subs: McLaughlin, Bassey, Simpson, Hagi, Zungu, Wright, Itten, Defoe, Stewart.
