Rangers team news vs Antwerp revealed as Steven Gerrard hands reprieve to Covid-19 trio

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has named his team to face Antwerp.

It's the second leg of the Europa League clash and it takes place at Ibrox with the home side leading 4-3 on aggregate.

And Rangers won't be holding back as they make one change to the side that beat Dundee United in the Premiership in Sunday.

But perhaps the biggest news is that shamed Covid-19 trio Nathan Patterson, Calvin Bassey and Bongani Zungu have all been named on the bench.

They returned to training earlier this week and Gerrard has decided to give them another chance with all three among the subs.

On the pitch, there is an enforced change in midfield with Ryan Jack out, and that sees Glen Kamara come in.

He starts alongside Steven Davis, and Joe Aribo as the only switch for tonight's game.

That means Ianis Hagi plays in attack alongside Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent in the front three.

In goals is Allan McGregor with a back four of Leon Balogun, Connor Goldson, Filip Helander and Borna Barisic.

As well as the returning Covid-19 trio, the subs bench includes Scott Arfield, Jack Simpson, Scott Wright, Cedric Itten and Greg Stewart.

Full team: McGregor, Balogun, Goldson, Helander, Barisic, Davis, Kamara, Aribo, Hagi, Morelos, Kent

Subs: McLaughlin, Simpson, Wright, Arfield, Itten, Stewart, King, Bassey, Patterson, Zungu
