Rangers team news revealed as Ianis Hagi returns for Steven Gerrard's men

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has named his team to face St Mirren.

The Ibrox side host the Paisley outfit as they look to close in on the league title, and they can win it this weekend if things go their way.

And Gerrard has made one change to the team who beat Livingston in midweek, with Ianis Hagi coming into the starting XI.

He replaces Scott Arfield with Joe Aribo dropping back into the midfield three after playing in the forward line on Wednesday.

Allan McGregor was booked in midweek and he starts in goals again, with a back four of Nathan Patterson, Connor Goldson, Filip Helander and Borna Barisic.

The Rangers midfield sees Steven Davis start alongside Glen Kamara and Aribo, with Ryan Jack still out injured.

Hagi comes into the frontline and he starts beside Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent in a very dangerous attacking lineup.

James Tavernier and Kemar Roofe are still injured so miss out, but Leon Balogun is back on the bench.

He's joined there by Scott Wright, Cedric Itten, Jermain Defoe, Jack Simpson and Arfield, as well as Calvin Bassey, Jon McLaughlin and Greg Stewart.

Full team: McGregor, Patterson, Goldson, Helander, Barisic, Davis, Kamara, Aribo, Hagi, Morelos, Kent

Subs: McLaughlin, Balogun, Simpson, Bassey, Stewart Arfield, Wright, Defoe, Itten
