Rangers target Oliver Antman trained so much as a child protege at Barcelona, police were called to check on his well-being.
The Ibrox side have been strongly linked with a move for the Go Ahead Eagles star, who created 15 assists in the Eredivisie last season - the highest in the league - and helped them win the Dutch Cup.
Finland international star Antman was scouted by Barcelona in his homeland when he was just eight years old and dubbed the 'Finnish Messi' from an early age.
He went over to the Nou Camp giants three years later and signed for their feeder club CF Damm because Barca were banned from signing underage players by FIFA at the time.
And the 23-year-old recalled last month just how hard he worked in Spain... which led to an unusual intervention.

Antman said: "In Barcelona, I was training for 60 hours a week and then when I went home, I trained some more.
"At one point, the police were called by my neighbours in Spain. They wanted to know why I was never in school.
"My mother then told the police that I was being homeschooled. The police did ask if I could practice somewhere else so the neighbours wouldn't be bothered.
"But the next morning I went back to the same square."
Antman eventually returned to Finland and won a move to Danish side FC Nordsjaelland, who were managed by Kasper Hjulmand - Denmark boss until last year - before moving to Go Ahead Eagles in a £1.5 million transfer last year.
