Rangers target Jens Hjerto-Dahl is reportedly set for a £10m move to Hull City.

The Ibrox club were credited with an interest in the Tromso midfielder this summer.

However, he is set to make a move to the newly promoted Premier League club.

Sky Sports report a deal in the region of £10m has been agreed for the 20-year-old to join Hull for their return to the English top flight.

It's claimed the Norway youth international has already undergone a medical ahead of the move, with paperwork to be finalised on Wednesday.

Rangers and Cardiff City had both been linked with Hjerto-Dahl, with long-running transfer speculation surrounding the midfielder.

Former Tromso and Brann boss Steinar Nilsen, who played for AC Milan and Napoli in his career, reckons Hjerto-Dahl is similar to Real Madrid and England superstar Jude Bellingham.

"Jens is a very exciting player who is reminiscent of Jude Bellingham," he said.

"Personally, I hoped he would take a step before the English Premier League, like Erling Haaland did, to get physically and mentally ready for the world's toughest league.

"Jens does have the talent and looks very good now, but the Premier League is two levels up from the Norwegian Eliteserien, at least."
