Rangers take 55 to the skies as stars head for Prague in customised 'Champions' jet

Newly-crowned champions Rangers may be concentrating on Europa League duty this week - but they aren't forgetting about their title win on the trip.

Steven Gerrard and his Premiership winners flew off from Glasgow Airport this afternoon as they gear-up for their last 16 tie against Slavia Prague.

A logo was placed near the entrance to the plane taking them to the Czech Republic stating 'Rangers, Champions, 55' to mark their 55th league title victory.

The Light Blues were put mathematically out of reach of the rest of the Scottish top flight last weekend after their win over St Mirren was coupled with Celtic and Dundee United's stalemate.

As well as enjoying fine form domestically, The Light Blues are unbeaten in Europe this season ahead of the visit to the Sinobo Stadium.

However, Jindrich Trpisovsky's side look to be a tough test for Gerrard's men as they also boast an unbeaten record in the Czech league.

In their last 32 clash, they saw off Premier League outfit Leicester City with a 2-0 aggregate win over Brendan Rodgers side.
