Rangers superfans Saint PHNX release new song ahead of Europa League final

A Lanarkshire band has released a new song inspired by Rangers reaching the Europa League final.

Brothers Stevie and Al Jukes make up the band Saint PHNX, and have enjoyed a number of successes in the last year.

The Wishaw pair are huge Rangers fans, season ticket holders at Ibrox and recently performed for fellow fans prior to the team's recent semi-final victory against RB Leipzig.

Now, ahead of Rangers' huge game against Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday in Seville, the brothers have recorded a song they hope will inspire both fellow fans and the team to a famous victory.

Make Us Dream was released at midnight on all major platforms, and it is already a firm fan favourite with Rangers and Saint PHNX fans alike.

The band teased the song on social media as they tweeted to say: “Felt inspired by @RangersFC getting to the Europa League Final, we had to write this! #MakeUsDream”.

Stevie Jukes also spoke on Twitter about the last time that his team played in a game as big as Wednesday's, which was the UEFA Cup final in 2008.

He recalled going to Manchester with his dad, Bertie, who sadly passed away at the start of last year.

Stevie tweeted: "I was very very lucky to go to the last final in Manchester with my old man. I remember when he surprised me to say we had tickets. One of my fondest memories, even though we lost. This time I’m lucky enough to go with my brother but for sure we will be thinking of Bertie."

This isn't the first Rangers-themed song the band has performed. They produced a cover of the fan favourite Blue Sea of Ibrox in 2019 for the BBC show A View From The Terrace.

Rangers fans have also been quick to praise the lads for their new track, with one Twitter user saying: "I hope to hear this song being belted out by the fans and the stadium for years to come. What a tune. Well done lads."

Another wrote: "Tremendous! Going onto the playlist for the buses up to Seville. Keep doing your thing."

The track is available to listen to here.
