Rangers have reportedly submitted a £7.4 million bid for Portland Timbers forward Kevin Kelsy.
The move comes in light of Youssef Chermiti's ACL injury sustained against Hibernian last weekend.

According to MLS insider Tom Bogert, the bid for the 22-year-old Venezuelan international is around $10 million. Portland, however, are not keen on selling, and Kelsy is not seeking a transfer.
Kelsy, with nine goals and two assists in 994 minutes this season, joined Portland from Shakhtar Donetsk in January last year, costing around £4.5 million. He has been capped four times by his country.

Rangers have already signed Olwethu Makhanya from Philadelphia Union this summer.
The team is currently struggling for goals, with only Ryan Naderi and Bojan Miovski available to partner Lawrence Shankland upfront.
Despite Shankland's first goal of the season against Jagiellonia Bialystok, Rangers lost to the Polish team.
Kelsy, on the other hand, scored the opener in Portland’s 3-1 Leagues Cup win over Club Tijuana.
