Rangers star Findlay Curtis netted his first Scotland goal as Steve Clarke’s side signed off from home soil with a 4-1 win over Curacao at Hampden.
Scotland were made to come from behind in their final friendly before the World Cup, with Curtis hauling them level shortly after replacing the injured Billy Gilmour.

A double from Lawrence Shankland and a Ryan Christie penalty sealed the victory, with the tournament now less than two weeks away.

The teenager also revealed his family missed his Hampden moment after jetting off on holiday, though he hopes they were watching from afar. He added: “Nobody was here actually, my mum and dad are in Tenerife.
“I booked me, my mum, dad, girlfriend, brother, and sister to go over to Tenerife, and obviously I couldn’t go so they’ve just gone over.
“I’ve not spoken to them yet, but I think, I hope, they’re watching with pride.”
