Rangers star Nikola Katic hits back at Gary Dicker after handshake snub claim

Nikola Katic has hit back at Gary Dicker after he criticised Rangers players for not shaking hands with Kilmarnock players.

The Killie defender said Rangers were bad losers for walking off the pitch without shaking the hands of the Ayrshire men after their 2-1 defeat at Rugby Park midweek.

Dicker revealed the snub when quizzed over a post-match clash involving Katic and sub Ross Millen which sparked an exchange between the Premiership squads.

But the Ibrox centre-half has responded claiming his anger was the result of the unwarranted heavy tackle on him in the closing stages.

Katic said: “I was disappointed. But he has to look at a tackle from his team-mate on me in the last 10 seconds.

"He will see everything.”

Dicker said after the match: “I didn’t even see it (Katic incident). I didn’t see any of their players and I can’t remember any of them shaking any of our boys hands. They all just went down the tunnel.

“That’s up to them what they do and how they react.

“I’m sure when we played them and lost on Boxing Day, it wasn’t the same thing. That’s football isn’t it. People act how they want to act. There’s nothing I can do about that.”
