Nicolas Raskin's contribution as Belgium beat Wales last night has been hailed as 'important' by his international manager.
The Rangers midfielder came off the bench during his national team's entertaining 4-3 victory over Wales on Monday night.
The hosts were cruising in Brussels after goals by Romelu Lukaku, Youri Tielemans and Jeremy Doku had them in a 3-0 lead inside the opening 30 minutes.
However, Craig Bellamy's Wales pulled one big right before half time from the spot, and this sparked a second half comeback which nearly saw the visitors leave with a point in the Belgian capital.
That was until soon-to-be free agent Kevin De Bruyne struck just moments before the end of the game to give Rudi Garcia's men all three points.

Raskin was subbed on after 75 minutes for Dodi Lukebakio.
And his impact earned plaudits from his manager, as they escaped embarrassment at the hands of the Welsh.
"Nicolas Raskin's entry was important because we needed fighters on the pitch," Garcia said post-match. "To give away a lead like that, I don't know if it's something mentally, but I'll talk with the players
"They have showed that they know what to do in the first half. Now, they just need to keep that up for 90 minutes."
