Rangers star Borna Barisic reveals Scotland Euro 2020 dream but Croatia boss fears Steve Clarke's 'problematic' side

Confident Borna Barisic insists the Euro 2020 draw is a dream come true with Croatia set to play two games at Hampden next summer.

The draw for next summer's showpiece pits Scotland with England, Croatia and Czech Republic - if they can see off Israel and either Norway or Serbia in the playoffs.

Scotland would duel with Barisic's Croatia in their final match in the group if Steve Clarke's can come alive against Israel and either Serbia or Norway.

The Rangers star said: "For me personally, I am delighted with the draw because we play two games in Glasgow, my home, and one in London, which is not far.

"Obviously, I know Hampden well and it will be good for me personally because I am so acquainted with the stadium.

"If we end up playing Scotland it will be tough, but it's the same for every opponent because every country who gets to the Finals deserves to be respected.

"But if we prepare well for the tournament there is no reason why we shouldn't do well. It's a great draw and I am really pleased with our group."

And Croatia boss Zlatko Dalic admitted he would prefer not to face Scotland at Hampden...or hated rivals Serbia at Euro 2020 .

He said: "It's not easy to prepare yet because we don't know who we would face. But playing Scotland in Glasgow would be especially problematic.

"And we wouldn't particularly look forward to playing Serbia either."
