Rangers' £10 million striker Youssef Chermiti is at the centre of an international tug of war after Tunisia confirmed they want to offer him a place in their squad.
And Rangers will be desperate for him to decline their offer....he would be out for a month later this year if he accepted.
The 21-year-old completed his big-money move to Ibrox earlier this month and has made two substitute appearances for Russell Martin's side.
He's been capped at all youth levels by Portugal and has won two caps for their Under 21s.
But he is also eligible to play for Tunisia because of his father and has been offered the chance to switch international allegiances and play for the African nation, who booked their place at the World Cup earlier this month with a 1-0 win over Equatorial Guinea.
However, Tunisian FA sports director, Zied Jaziri, has admitted it's proving to be a challenging task to persuade Chermiti to play for them.
He said: "At the moment, we have found it difficult to get Youssef Chermiti to commit his international future to Tunisia.
"We will continue to hold talks with him and hope he eventually decides on our exciting project."
Earlier this year, Tunisia boss Sami Trabelsi admitted he was frustrated at their attempts to tempt Chermiti to them.

He said: "It's impossible to compel a player to join the national team if they don't feel a true desire. This willingness must come from within.
"Certain players have told us they are waiting for a minimal opportunity, even a one per cent chance, to join European squads.
"I cannot wait indefinitely for these players to join the national team. Tunisia is precious and only needs those who wish to defend its honour with passion and determination."
Rangers will be hoping he continues to reject their advances - Tunisia will play in the African Cup of Nations in December and January and their Under 23s take part in the Arab Cup in November and December.
If Chermiti was called up for either tournament, he would be out for a month out of domestic action.
