Rangers star Alfredo Morelos' wife confirms 'it's a girl' and thanks God for her 'princess'

star Alfredo Morelos' wife has announced that she is expecting a baby girl.

In November we told how the 23-year-old revealed his wife, Yesenia, was expecting their first child.

Last month we then told how a loved one referred to the striker's unborn child as her 'beautiful niece', sparking rumours surrounding the gender of the little one.

On Thursday, mum-to-be Yesenia confirmed the rumours that baby Morelos is a 'princess'.

The Colombian beauty took to social media to share the exciting news with her 9,000 followers.

Yesenia posed in a white chemise on a plush king-size bed next to husband of five years, Alfredo.

The couple were surrounded by pink and silver balloons in the shape of love hearts and stars.

Other balloons in the snaps, taken in Glasgow, spelled the word, 'girl'.

The Gers WAG appears overjoyed at the news, but admits that times have been tough for the pair throughout her pregnancy.

Yesenia wrote: "Being pregnant has awakened the most amazing feelings.

"While not all things are rosy, I am fortunate to be going through one of the most amazing experiences which, for a woman, is giving birth.

"I have to have done something very good for God to have blessed me with you.

"We look forward to meeting you, my princess."

One wrote: "Aw lovely, a wee princess."

A second commented: "Amazing news.

"Congratulations to you both."

A third added: "A wee buffalo-ette."

Yesenia's hint at difficult times comes after our sister title, the Sunday Mail, revealed that cops were told she hired a private investigator to put a tracking device on Alfredo's supercar.

This week, the Record exposed a host of errors in the translation of a recent Sky Sports News sit-down interview with the Rangers striker.

The revelation, uncovered by Record Sport, led to Sky removing the video interview with the questionable subtitles and demands from into the interpretation.
