Rangers star Alfredo Morelos called 'Orange b*****d' by sectarian yob in Glasgow

Video footage has emerged showing Rangers star Alfredo Morelos being targeted with vile sectarian abuse in Glasgow city centre.

The Colombian striker is seen getting into his car when someone drives past and films themselves shouting "Orange b*****d" at him from their inside their own vehicle.

Morelos looks directly at the yob as he hears the abuse and appears surprised by the outburst.

The 23-year-old looked to be signing an autograph for a supporter when he was targeted. The video is believed to have been taken the day before Sunday's derby clash against Celtic.

Morelos was also targeted with sectarian abuse during Rangers' 2-1 win at Celtic Park while there have also been accusations that he was racially abused.

Police are investigating potential racist abuse while they are also looking into an offensive social media post.

Morelos was sent off towards the end of the game at Parkhead and made a controversial gesture as he left the field.

It sparked angry reactions following the match with pundits critical and calling for the SFA to ban him.

The Ibrox hero is currently in Colombia during the winter break, having flown directly to his homeland following Sunday's match.

While there, he took part in a charity match for his own foundation as he looks to help those in need in Cerete, the area where he is from.
